Services offered
Individual Therapy focuses on addressing a specific concern as it relates to your goals. Psychotherapy can be customized and adapted to your personal needs and goals.
Some examples of support include:
- Worry though and/or anxious symptoms
- Sadness or depression
- Regulating emotions
- Low self-esteem, self-criticism
- Peer relationships and/or bullying
- Stress, performance and expectations
- Seeking a safe space to share and/or process your experiences
Family Therapy includes working to strengthen the relationship and emotional connection.
Some examples of support include:
- Parent and youth conflict
- Boundaries and expectations
- Communication difficulties
- Family transitions
Parent and Caregiver Support includes working with the parents to provide support for parenting strategies.
Some examples of support include,:
- Bedtime and/or routine challenges
- School concerns
- Parent frustration and emotions
All psychotherapy sessions are held virtually using a PHIPA compliant Telehealth platform.
I offer a free 15 minute telephone consultation to discuss any questions about the therapy process.
Consultation Services
These are as need services for families or agencies for the purpose of treatment planning regarding your loved ones needs.
Oftentimes neurodivergent people and those experiencing anxious symptoms require advocacy support for access to services within the school, workplace or community.
Service Delivery & Rates
Delivery of Services
Services are offered via telephone or video conferencing.
I use secure video conferencing software to connect for individual sessions. This is compliant with PHIPA rules, you will need a computer with a webcam to utilize the services.
Phone sessions are available if you prefer.
There is no HST charged on psychotherapy services provided by a Registered Social Worker so the rates provided are inclusive.
Fees
- Individual Session are $150 for 55 minutes
- Family Sessions are $170 for 55 minutes
- Parent and Caregiver Support are $120 for 55 minutes
- Consultation Services are $100 for 60 minutes
Please note: psychotherapy services are covered by most insurance coverage, please check to ensure yours cover 'registered social worker'.
Psychotherapy and treatment planning services are covered by the Ontario Autism Program (this is funding for people living with autism distributed via Access OAP).
I offer sliding scale for those who require it.
